- Please continue to pray daily for the Whitehead family. With the passing of Henry, and Tina still recovering, we still need to lift them up often.
- Please pray for the McQuaig family in the wake of Andrew's passing. It's a tough situation, but we serve a God who is able!
- Continue to pray for Mel Buck, Russ Weaver, and Karen Nabors, all of whom are continuing to recover from surgeries.
- Please pray for Pastor Tim and all of those who serve on our church staff.
- PRAISE GOD for two visitors at practice last night!! Welcome!

- PRAISE!!! God showed up at the Great American M/C Show in a big way! Jo and I had the opportunity to speak with and encourage over 40 people this past weekend..and we had our biggest crowd yet for Sunday morning service! And the wedding I ended up doing Sunday afternoon was a special added bonus!
- Please pray for us as we seek to crank back up with Children's Choir on Feb 19th..if you're interested in helping out, let one of us know! Be glad to have you...
- Please pray with us that God will continue to reveal His path and direction for our lives, and that we remain faithful to His calling
I read once about a famous violinist (back home we called them fiddle players!) who announced before a concert that he would play one of the world's most expensive violins. His first selection was played without missing a note, and the audience was thrilled at the performance. After taking his bows, the musician suddenly smashed the instrument, completely destroying it.
The audience was stunned and shocked..until the violinist explained that he had been playing a cheap violin. Then, picking up the expensive instrument, he began to draw the bow across the strings. The sound was beautiful, but most of the people couldn't tell any difference between the music from the expensive violin and the cheap one. The quality of the instrument was secondary to the skill of the violinist.
Isn't it the same thing in our service for the Lord? The Master can use ordinary instruments like us. If we are yielded to Him, He will produce beautiful music through us. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 1:27 said that "God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise". He does that so that the glory will be His and not ours. Just like that inexpensive violin, we too can be instruments in the Master's hands to magnify the Lord and bring blessing to others. See, God can and will use ordinary instruments to produce a marvelous concert of praise..
Love y'all!!! Don't forget to talk up our choir and invite anyone and everyone you can to come be a part!!

God bless you and have a GREAT day!
